This is me. My name is Emanuele Guadagnoli, but friends call me Cico, which means… nothing. It’s a long story. I am 25 at the moment of writing. I live in Italy near Florence where I work as an electronic engineer at Selex Galileo.
<joking>I’m the CEO (self-elected, self-paid, self-everything) of a “company” I’ve established in the nineties (i can’t remember the exact date). Its name is, of course, Cicoandcico co. The aim is dominating the IT scene by 2010. :O<joking>
This site, containing posts about my life (like a blog), other than a collection of some programs and scripts I wrote, is the result of a long lasting passion for informatics and electronics.
I write both in Italian and English… so that I can make practice. But my english is far from perfect, so please forgive me if something is a bit obscure.
What I do
I graduated summa cum Laude in April 2008 in Electronic Engineering, with a thesis on Linearization of Dual Band PAs trough means of digital predistortion, whose application targets are base stations or handsets. I worked as a researcher at the University of Florence, before the hiring at Selex Galileo.
In my free time, I love listening to music, watching movies, and (sometimes) coding. I am a Linux user and I actively follow the development.
I love playing soccer, swimming, skiing, and riding my motorbike (Aprilia RS250). Cough cough I love p***y cough cough
This site
This is (one, two, three…) the 4th version of my syte. I started writing it in 2007, using the work made with the development of CcMail 2.0. But i stopped writing at half, due to lack of time and will.
Then, in october 2007, I grabbed wordpress and wrote a theme for it, using the code i was telling about. I had to modify some sources to obtain the desired result, but let me say, wp plugin architecture is so well done that it was a matter of days. Thank you, Wp team. Maybe i’ll write some plugin.
